Twende is a Swahili word that means “let’s go” and is spoken in Tanzania and East Africa. You will hear this many times on your Kilimanjaro Trek and Safaris.
KiliTwende Adventures, owned and operated by indigenous Tanzanians, was established in 2010 and has continued to grow and expand over the years, with the aim of providing the most exciting and satisfying Kilimanjaro Treks and Safaris holidays.
Robert Michael Woiso (Bobby) started to work as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro in order to earn income for living and save some for studying to become a mountain guide. After studying a tour guide and operations course and working for various tour companies as a mountain guide, he then established KiliTwende Adventures in 2010. He is well experienced Professional Guide who participated in numerous treks and climbs in various mountains within and outside the country. The company reflects the superior training and experience he received while working for various tour companies in Tanzania.
His “one love” philosophy approach to life inspires Bobby to serve and connect his clients and his team. He has also a big ambition of supporting the needy people in the community, especially youth through sports and education.
